CHIBIMART fair: Consumeo’s insight

For you this month Consumeo took a look at the Chibimart fair in Milan. This “Cash and Carry” fair gathers young artists with a lot of talent. And because joy is better shared we are happy to share our favorite collections with you.

Let’s start with SENSORIA.

The design of this collection is right on time for the autumn season with a structure that is clearly inspired by Mother Nature and its leafless branches during this time of the year.


SENSORIA also went for very interesting necklaces that you can almost use as a scarf. But you might want to put something warmer on top of it.


Talking about warmth SENSO is bringing us a collection inspired by the colors and patterns of Africa.


The use of leather, pearls and bright colors is a free ticket to the land of the Maasai.

And last but not least, PRETTI, that reminds us that this fair wasn’t only about jewelry but also about accessories.




Their bags are leather made with various patterns and strings. And because fashion is all about matching your accessories all together PRETTI developed a collection of necklaces and bracelets to go with the bags.





Spotted: Consumeo @ Beijing Auto Fair 2014

The greatest Asian Auto Fair opened its doors by end of April and Consumeo was there to check out what’s hot and new. The most luxurious cars, the most beautiful Models and all different kind of carry-bags dominated the view on the fair. It is clear that every car manufacturer which holds up on its brand had a give-away bag. Our top 5 favorite’s are:

5) Volkswagen, because ´think blue´ written on their bags is the new `go green`


4) Ferrari, because they reintepreted their world-famous Logo new inspired by this year´s Chinese Zodiac sign, the horse!



3) Jaguar, because it shows again how simplicity stands for class and elegance.


2) Mercedes-Benz because their brand image is implemented to the last detail.


1) Nissan, because it´s the most unusual, beatiful and rigid bag from the fair.


Consumeo´s Highlights from Baselworld 2014

For the 42nd time the worlds greatest exhibition of watches and jewelry opened its doors in Basel, Switzerland. Every famous company in this industry marks the date as a must-attend-event. Consumeo picked their favorite watches of the fair:

We love these Bremont limited edition Codebreaker watches from their cooperation with Bletchley Park



Keeping things fun, Ritmo Mundo showed off their latest collaboration with Audi for a special edition Reflex watch



if you’ve ever wanted to know what it was like to be an award winning musical artist, this Gucci timepiece uses the same materials as the Grammy statuettes.


Aerowatch wants to bring Art Nouveau to the watchmaking industry, and we love the sapphire crystal back that allows us to see the mechanisms in all their glory.


This hydro mechanical watch by Vincent Perriard’s HYT tells the hours with colorful oil that is pumped through a transparent tube and minutes by a red and white hand.


Eco watches were also present, like the Olmo from Italian brand Lowell. The faces are untreated wood and the watches are hand wound.


We also appreciate the wonderland elegance of the Christophe Claret Margot watch.  He loves me, he loves me not.

Cut down on your costs by combining two products!

What is a bagbox? It’s what you get when you merge a thick bag and a lightweight box. This foldable product allows you to store the bags as you would lightweight foldable boxes cutting down on warehousing costs and retail storage space.

With a rigid bottom, it performs the function of a box, but gives your brand the same exposure as a manual paper bag.

Brown Kraft

With the growing concern of environment protection, brands have adopted new measures to reduce the impact of their activities on the environment. Creating a greener packaging was one of them, discarding plastic lamination, using water-based inks and environment friendly papers such as BROWN KRAFT.

Brown kraft paper is more ecological than any other papers since its production does not involve any bleaching process. It also offers a high tear resistance which results in strong and durable shopping bags, while being economical. Last but not least, brown kraft paper packaging has a natural and rough filling that has become trendy among companies promoting their actions to protect the environment.

Miami, FL – April 16, 2013 – Just in time for Earth Day, Planet Ocean is a brand new environmental documentary directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and Michael Pitiot. The Miami premiere was on Tuesday at the Adrienne Arsht Center where luxury Swiss watchmaker OMEGA hosted a screening and cocktail party with the SurfRider Foundation. Larsa and Scottie Pippen, along with Adrienne and Chris Bosh, were just some of the big supporters of the night. OMEGA actually invented the first diving watch in 1932, so it was only natural that they would fund Planet Ocean, with the goal of raising awareness for ocean protection. The 90-minute documentary is narrated by actor Josh Duhamel and directed by acclaimed photographer, filmmaker, and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand of the nonprofit GoodPlanet. OMEGA also created a special, limited edition watch to promote the film- the GoodPlanet Planet Ocean- with proceeds going to mangrove protection in Southeast Asia.
